- Roll-call participation and incident response are free on every plan
A worker-safety coordination tool for organizations that need accountability in the field. One tap asks a crew to account for themselves; you see who answered and who has not. They have less friction at the work site, you have less friction as a manager.
Confirmed, overdue, still to answer, and unreachable; counted against the people you actually asked.
A responder claims a case by name, so three people do not ring the same number while nobody rings the others.
Set an optional location. A worker's check-in only counts if they're there, and at that specific time of your choosing.

A roll call records what each person answered. It is not proof of where anybody was.
Chillswitch records confirmations and overdue state.
Ask your team to collectively check in at time and (optionally) a place. Set on a repeating schedule (e.g. clocking in/out of a night shift), or schedule one-off events.
A worker can configure a standing rhythm or a time-bounded window, with grace time and recurring pauses outside the hours they need covered.
The worker is warned before contacts are notified. If the deadline passes, Chillswitch follows the worker’s configured escalation steps and delays.
An authorized safety contact can ask a closed group to confirm now and see who is confirmed, who is overdue, who is still to answer, and who could not be reached at all. A roll call can also count only the people at a named place.
A recipient can take responsibility for following up, helping avoid duplicated calls and unowned cases. Group owners can designate safety contacts as a response team for large rosters.
Share the active roll-call summary as text for an operational handoff. Chillswitch is designed around the current event, not a permanent worker-activity history.
The screen a coordinator opens during an incident, and the deliberate limits of it.
A roll call can be scoped to a site, so a muster counts whoever is there. Each line is what that person’s phone reported when they answered — not a track of where they had been.
A group whose members have all turned notifications off is a group whose roll calls reach nobody and report nothing wrong. Leads see that as a count, e.g. "7 of 8 can hear".
One action removes somebody from every group you run and withdraws invitations they never accepted. Their own account and their own safety contacts are untouched.

Replace an improvised “call the office when you leave” routine with a defined signal and response path.
Chillswitch supports the signal and coordination layer. Your organization remains responsible for staffing, escalation decisions, emergency procedures, and legal compliance.
Identify who works alone, what confirmation is useful, who responds, and what your team already does when someone cannot be reached.
Choose a bounded team and named responders. Participation, circle membership, and disclosure remain explicit rather than silently provisioned.
Set schedules, grace periods, escalation steps, and roster roles; then test delivery and practice the independent fallback procedure.
Evaluate whether the workflow is usable and where delivery or policy limits matter before discussing broader deployment.
A safety process works only if the people using it understand what it reveals, and what it does not.
Chillswitch does not ask for “Always” or background-location permission and never shows anyone’s live location. Optional location is captured when a worker checks in. A worker on a paid plan can choose to record a route for a trip; it is sealed on their device, opened only after a lapse or a help press, and no organization or manager can require it.
Notes, instructions, and an optional attached location are sealed on the worker’s device; operational routing metadata still exists.
There is no central administrator who can inspect a worker’s personal schedule, history, or location. What a group owner does see is one aggregate about their own group: how many members could receive a notification, as a count and never as a list of names.
Joining a circle or accepting a safety-contact relationship is an explicit product action and does not itself grant location access.
The service does not keep a server-side history of completed check-in times, although limited operational, security, and current-event records exist.
Billing entitlement is not consulted on the active notification path. A plan does not make an alert faster or more reliable.
Banded pricing avoids deciding which individual workers deserve a paid seat. Final scope and availability are set in a written agreement.

Indicative US pricing for organization plans, which are contracted directly rather than bought through self-service checkout. Current limits apply to the designated owner account, and roster limits are per circle rather than an organization-wide seat count. Eligible nonprofit pricing, support, billing term, and availability are confirmed in a written agreement with Modernaut LLC.
Straight answers about scope, readiness, privacy, and responsibility.
No. Chillswitch coordinates voluntary check-ins and closed-group roll calls. It does not provide live location tracking, productivity monitoring, or a central console for browsing every worker’s personal activity. The one roster-wide figure a group owner sees is how many members could receive a notification, as a count rather than a list.
Not merely because they manage a roster. Location is optional and off by default. A worker can attach a historical location at check-in and include it in selected sealed in-app escalation steps for chosen contacts. A worker on a paid plan can also choose to record a route for a trip; managers cannot require it, and nobody can watch it live.
No. Chillswitch is not a monitoring center, dispatcher, emergency service, or guarantee of delivery or response. It does not replace hazard controls, legally required procedures, trained responders, or an independent fallback plan.
Team, Organization, and Network plans are contracted directly rather than sold as self-service products. Scope, roster ceiling, price, onboarding, support, and availability are confirmed in a written agreement with Modernaut LLC.
